My Time: Annapolis Woodworkers Guild donates toys

Has helped Sarah's House for 16 years

Annapolis Woodworkers Guild, www.awwg.org, was established in 1989 and has approximately 150 members. Our group has been making wooden toys for Sarah's House for the past 16 years.

This year, Mike Arndt, Vicki Kunde and Nick Libernini, all of Severn, helped deliver this year's donations on Dec. 12.

Sarah's House was established in 1987 and provides valuable help to families in need in Anne Arundel County, www.cc-md.org/about-us/overview.html

The AWWG members have worked on community projects, such as gates, benches, cabinets, wheelbarrels and signs for numerous historic Annapolis buildings, including the Hammond-Harwood House, the Lord Mayor's tenement house at London Towne Public House and the SPCA.
